Gun Sense University is Everytown for Gun Safety, Moms Demand Action, and Students Demand Action’s annual gathering of volunteers, survivors, and staff. Everytown is the largest gun violence prevention organization in America, that educates and advocates for ending gun violence. This GSU was planned with an intentional effort to lift up voices who are underrepresented in our movement?or have been marginalized in our society, and making sure young people have seats at the table.
GSU 2024 built a space for attendees to build relationships, learn from each other, and remind ourselves why we’re committed to ending gun violence. We had the opportunity to visit over 200 Capitol Hill offices to meet with elected officials and to learn from and engage with our community partners.
